Numbers, We’ve Got Numbers!

Yesterday, the President talked about how much crime illegal aliens bring with them. A few weeks earlier, he was talking about his economic success, based on the unemployment rate being lower than it had been in years.

Are both sets of numbers true, or phony, or is this all a matter of one’s loyalty or enmity towards President Donald J. Trump?

I’ve spent over 20 years teasing out how one distinguishes between statistical knowledge of social indicators versus “disappearing” the latter, or “fake stats.”

In 1996, I published the first national exposé of the NYPD’s fraudulent crime stats under Commissioner William Bratton, in Chronicles Magazine. Over the years, I have published several other big exposés on the NYPD, Philly, LA and Dallas PDs in VDARE, as well as reprinting other people’s exposés here.

In 1998, I published an exposé on how NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s “welfare reform” was also fraudulent.

The biggest method for “disappearing crime” was redefining felonies as misdemeanors or non-crimes.

Regarding illegal aliens, the trick is to engage in massive de-policing. Police chiefs cede jurisdiction over entire, huge illegal alien-dominated neighborhoods to illegal alien gangs. Cops stop enforcing any immigration laws, under the cover story that otherwise illegals will not go to police when they are crime victims.

It’s all a scam. Since the cops have left no doubt that the gangs are in charge, and most Hispanic illegals come from countries with corrupt police forces, illegals almost never go to the police. To do so would be suicidal.

Thus, all sorts of not only immigration crimes are massively committed, but many other crimes that are typically committed by illegals:

Driving without a license
Driving without insurance
Illegally working
Identity theft
Tax evasion
Earned Income Tax Credit [EITC] fraud
Pedophilia

The police chiefs and open borders lobbyists then promote the racial fairy tale, whereby illegal aliens are “more law-abiding” than Americans. That’s impossible! As the late Congressman Sonny Bono used to say, “What part of ‘illegal’ do you not understand?”

The primary method for “disappearing unemployment” is dropping people from the unemployment rolls, once their unemployment checks run out. Thus, the worse unemployment gets, the rosier the numbers look! Bill Clinton began this form of statistical legerdemain during his first term in office, and it has since served both Democrats and Republicans well.

It takes very time-consuming research to do what I do. Please help, by hitting the PayPal “Donate” button at the top of this page, and by making a generous donation.

I thank you, and your posterity will, too.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Stix
